CECat. Little do you know that by purchasing a Squeeze device you have played into their plans to market you relentlessly through their Squeezebox website.
This is a marketing decision made by Logitech. There is really no reason that the Radio "must" be connected to the Internet for setup and if you do some searching around you will find some workarounds that exist to let you get the radio set up without connection to MySqueezebox.com.
