Mine works almost all of the time. It's the "almost" part that drives me crazy.
That, coupled with no battery backup for the alarm in case of power failures, makes it unreliable. If I need to be sure to wake up on time, I use my cheap alarm clock that I keep next to the SB radio. Very sad, as the SBR is otherwise a fine device. They will someday fix the alarm unreliability, which is most likely software. The lack of a cheap 9v battery for alarm backup is a hardware omission that will need to wait for future hardware versions.
