I thought I would hate the album art on the radio, but I have grown to love it :-S Yes you don't see the whole cover but it's more a nice back drop. I suggest trying squeezeplay with the touch sized setting. This has a 'show the whole cover' setting. It looks really bare to me. Obviously, everybody is different, but I think maybe a full cover on the small radio screen will not have much impact (or much definition).
