The numeric keys are mapped to presets. So if music starts up when you hit one of them, it is probably because that music was previously set (perhaps inadvertantly) as a preset. I couldn't find a quick way to make the numeric keys behave as they do with the SB3 (jump to letter). Maybe someone else knows how to do that.
