I think the reason Logitech is so terrible at this whole product-to-market / product available for sale - thing that Logitech has a completely different corebusiness.
If one mouse is retired and it's replacement is late to market and another is out of stock their customers still have 25+ mice to choose from without going to the competitor. No problemo. But if the SB Classic is retired, the SB Touch delayed and the SB Receiver is unavailable, then there is only two alternatives for the customers: scavenge on eBay or go to the competitors. The sad thing is that when the fiscal year ends the "Squeezebox end-to-end division(s)" (Don't know and don't care what they're called this week) will get bashed for not living up to the sales expectations. -- Muele BR Mogens 1 Radio, 2 Controllers, 2 Receivers, 1 Squeezeplay.
