That's interesting because the release of the battery was delayed quite some time because the final software needed wasn't ready. People have been waiting for the battery for quite some time. If pre-orders were to blame, you would have thought that could have been seen sooner and more production ordered while the software was being polished for release. You also have the question of why new buyers got batteries when some pre-orders were told they will now have to wait.
