If you expect action on the bug, providing some basic information will
be more productive than posing inflammatory rhetorical questions. To
fix a bug they need to be able to reproduce it. The actual firmware
revision is a start, but other info like what server you are connected
to (mysb.com or local SBS), what you're setting for the alarm that
doesn't fire, etc. are needed to reproduce the problem. 

I can't speak to the sleep function because I never use it, but the
alarm has worked reliably for me for several months, on both 7.4.x and
7.5.0. Clearly something is different with your setup.
