Your system sounds like mine. Everything is wired. My son came in and ran cat5 in our 100 yr old house. (I think he officially hates lathe/plaster walls now) Everything works great. We got rid of our alarm clock and use the boom every day as our alarm clock. It has never let us down. We also have a Squeezebox 3 Granted, we rarely, if ever, log off the server software and on to mysqueezebox.com We have no need to do so with the functionality of the newer software releases. Everything is available within the server software. We also use squeezeplay on several computers. Far from perfect but it works good enough. I am a happy Squeezebox user. Not blind......but have used the products for over 4 years and 4 years ago to today? Wow, what a difference. The squeezebox products have been the single best piece of technology we have ever bought. (even my non-tech wife agrees) I have no doubt the problems people are having are real. (and frustrating)In these forums they will find help. I have been helped many times by the good people in this forum.
