First, this is a Users Forum. Logitech doesn't take complaints here! Second, its not Logitech's fault if you won't do what's needed to use the alarm feature in the most reliable way. They didn't misrepresent their product. The only misrepresentation are your misstatements! No Squeezebox is advertised as an Alarm Clock. They have an alarm Feature, and again, that is an alarm feature. And when "YOU" make it to complicated or more complicated to use that 'Feature' it is of course going to become less reliable. I have been using a Boom for over 2 years as an alarm without issue. I run a dedicated SBS Server, use a local tune for my wake-up song, and have my Boom, Server, and Router all on UPSs. In closing, if you bought your Squeezebox only to be a $200 alarm clock, now who is doing the misrepresenting! Who with their faculties in place pays $200 when all they need is a $12 alarm clock. -- iPhone *iPhone* Media Room: Transporter, VTL TL-6.5 Signature Pre-Amp, Ayre MX-R Mono's, VeraStarr 6.4SE 6-channel Amp, Vandersteen Speakers: Quatro Mains, VCC-5 Reference Center, four VSM-1 Signatures, Video: Runco RS 900 CineWide AutoScope 2.35:1 Living Room: Duet, ADCOM GTP-870HD, Cinepro 3K6SE III Gold, Vandersteen Model 3A Signature, Two 2Wq subs, VCC-2, Two VSM-1 Kitchen: Squeezebox BOOM Bedroom: Second Boom Bathroom: Squeezebox Radio Ford Thunderbird: Duet, Mac Mini Ford Expedition: SB Touch, USB drive ------------------------------------------------------------------------ iPhone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13622 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=78256 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
