I agree with you that logitech clearly advertises the Radio as a
bedside replacement and alarm clock (and don't tell you that you'd need
a server for this to be working).
Thanks for posting the evidences so maybe even iPhone will realize that
he is not right in telling us the Radio is not supposed to be used as an
alarm clock as one of its main features.

Anyway. Not installing a server will lead to you being upset for at
least the next half year (I guess) at least. And we just don't like
reading all the time that you are upset.
As we are not only logitech who might really help you with your problem
(but apperently don't) we - the users / the community / the fanboys
posting in this forum - only have the one advise that you don't want to
take.

I wake up every morning to the alarm. It's fading in, I don't have the
screensafer problem because all these bugs are already solved (for
users running their own server only unfortunately).

But we won't ever get out of this loop.
You are upset and make us upset too. What's the sense in this ?

Go make Logitech upset ! Give bad reviews on Amazon. Write to
tech-papers who review the product. Call their support. Write them
endless mails. Sue them. Whatever.
But please don't spoil our experience here on the forum .
