Once you've done this, it has a quirky way of working. The first key hold gives you the sleep eyelash symbol on the screen and tells you that it will sleep in 15 minutes (or at end of song). The second key hold will raise this to 30 minutes (no indication that this has happened). The third key hold gives you 60 minutes, etc. At some point, an additional key hold will turn the sleep function off (the eyelash symbol will disappear at this point).
