When I saw this, I was overwhelmed with hope & excitement! I ran first
to my PC to start SBS, then switched the radio over to the PC server,
Hold power off and restart the radio, reconnect to MySB.com, then shut
down the server.

Alas, no go. In fact before this, station art was starting to be more
consistent, but this took me back to square one again with no station
art whatsoever (other than Pandora art which always works).

Station art does work PERFECTLY & CONSISTENTLY while connected to SBS,
so that explains why the problem is no big deal to the majority of
users here who probably run connected to SBS. And it also means that
the problem is with MySqueezebox.com's server. I bought a "stand
alone" internet radio so I didn' have to leave my PC running.

Besides the steps that you've outlined which I've duplicated, is there
anything you left out? You didn't mention it, but there is no need to
disconnect the radio from AC & battery power after the shut down, is
there?

Having followed the Johnny Bush saga, I'm beginning to wonder whether
switching back & forth between firmwares has done my radio some harm.
You'd think that switching firmwares would "flush out" all remnants of
the prior firmware, but Johnny Bush's experience implies that this may
not be the case.
