I'm using 7.6 and a local server, so I don't experience the problems as
all my radio listening (wich is not much) goes trough my server,(wich
uses mysbs.com in the background for some tasks).

So No I don't see problems, I also do not use the alarms, for that I
have the boom .

If id connect to mysb.com directly it would downgrade to 7.5 something,
so i don't do that.

I'm probably not the right person to ask, I use my radio for local
files mostly and for a couple of hours at most, when I'm on my balcony
for this the battery is great.
I also use it in the bathroom when i'm relaxing in my tub :)

But when I play radio it works just fine like it always has for me .
At least the channels I want.

To top it off I have a real ehternet in to my apartment 100mb the house
is probably connected with fiber.

I'm not very likely to pick up problems.
It obviously fits my usage pattern, I never fall into the traps.
