Possible but very unusual if true. What has not changed in that time frame is the basic WiFi protocol as it applies to these devices. But not having admin access to the router greatly limits how much you can do to troubleshoot the issue. Is your WiFi name unique? Are you sure Radio is trying to connect to your WiFi and not a neighbors? Is router broadcasting it's SSID? Any security limits set on router to limit other devices from connecting? MAC filtering?
