Ok then, looks like you can exclude your network hardware/software completely as it works in another OS on the same computer on the same network . so no apparent need to do anything in the router . My current windows experience is not much ( been using Linux lately ) re firewalls use only one, some manages to have more than one active ? why not try windows own firewall I think LMS itself preconfigure exceptions on install . also noted that disabling any fw or av software does not *really* disable them :-/ and some does not even unistall properly ( older norton as example ) btw the importan ports to keep open is 3483 udp/tcp and 9000 tcp . See if Vipre has options for open specific ports . if you have more than one PC you can also acess the servers Web-UI from another machine http://192.168.1.x:9000 ( replace x with what's on the server ) this will also tell you if things are working . ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=95657 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
