The downgrade procedure to "downgrade" an "upgraded" Squeezebox Radio is now posted in public by Logitech for those who want a clear official instruction: http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Logitech-UE/Squeezebox-radio-upgrade/m-p/931642#M442 I still suspect this will only work as long as you don't keep running the UE Smart Radio long enough for Logitech to publish a new firmware update, since it only reverts to the previous firmware, but I guess you should be pretty unlucky if that happens during the short time you need to try out the UE Smart Radio firmware to see if it's something you like.
