UPDATE: Though scrolling and all buttons are still not working at all. I did plug a cable from my iphone into the "in" jack and it played music over the speaker. When the line went in the screen moved from the select language screen to the line in screen showing a cable. If I pressed the back button it did return me to the select language screen. The pause button also worked. The volume did not. Seems like a good thing and I feel more proof that there is a chance to get it completely operative. Seems to really underscore that the main issue is the push button. Again, any thoughts would be appreciated.
