I've had various issues with the alarms, but most I've found a cause
for. Just to outline the setup. 3x Radios (2 on wireless) + Picore and
LMS on RPi2. The 4:47 problem happened once, and I was awake and
suddenly unable to sleep so had a look at the radio log and server
log(once powered). It was in a terrible state, which had been caused by
something really stupid - at the time I had a simple time-switch on the
supply that the raspberry pi was also on. After 3 months of having the
power randomly removed, the database corrupted and a few other things.
The log on the radio has something about PANIC I'm sure and about
sledgehammer re-arm - but all problems resolved by keeping the LMS
powered and in a decent state. Also worth mentioning that there are two
SYNC settings - the one where the audio is in sync (this was off) but
the radios were set to "keep settings in sync across mysqueezebox.com.
I don't think that was part of the problem - and just to note when it
did this there was no network at all as at 4:47 all power to the router
was off until I applied it to look at the logs.
Second case - have a look at the log below. This has happened a few
times. The alarms are at the right time, this morning it plays the
wrong music, guitar thing - not the foghorn, which it is set to do. You
will see the log is full of network problems which I need to resolve.
I'd say if you want to get to the bottom of this, that it would be worth
having a look at /var/log/messages - a radio without these problems has
a clean log. Hope this helps - perhaps paste it on here. I've just
taken a small extract, pages of issues before it!
