OMG, you're right. I forgot about that (I'm not a Lua programmer). And the other assumption that Lua_Integer is unsigned is also wrong, it is a ptrdiff_t, thus *signed*. I forgot about all this, although I crawled through all this one year ago: see my 'post #37' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?111650-Spontaneous-turning-on&p=966558&viewfull=1#post966558).
