My work here is done :) Yea, it seems like soft off only turns off the audio amp (it can't turn off networking because it needs to be ready to woken). on top of that I saw very little quiescent current draw from the audio amp, even draw at 50% volume. I did see the current draw start to increase at about 70% volume and up. Its actually good to know. I'll have my radio, say outside, and have to run an errand or something and turn it off (soft) thinking I am saving battery. Now I know to turn it hard off.
