Ralphy, I know nothing about the community firmware, and really don't see the immediate need a shorter radio timeout, but out of curiosity, could a reduced timeout be set via a selection of settings in the radio settings menu?
I think I could see the use of a shorter timeout with the power save plugin, where you play an albums worth, it ends, power save turns the radio soft off, and the radio then turns hard off, saving battery play time.
