Duh....

Yes, that was my fatal flaw. I'd like to blame early morning (about
6AM), but let's just call it what it is, a dumb mistake. I knew it was
in there somewhere, which is why I kept injecting disclaimers :) Had I
chosen wattage, that would have been a better test.

But I think the "relative" info is there, press and hold power off vs
clock on power off is significant.

If we were interested, I was thinking of rigging an ammeter inline on
the DC side of the brick. I have some barrel plugs and receptacles
laying around. I may do that just for the fun of it...
