I don't think it's particularly wise to recommend Titanium at the moment - as it potentially violates Section 3.3.1 of the iPhone developer agreement (as it's not using Objective-C).
Best to learning Objective-C (it's not really that hard!) for the moment, at least until the exact weight of 3.3.1 is confirmed. Failing that, what's wrong with using HTML5 as an alternative - it won't solve everything, but if you're not willing to learn Objective- C, it's a suitable alternative IMHO… -R On Apr 25, 5:05 pm, George Bray <[email protected]> wrote: > On Sat, Apr 24, 2010 at 1:34 PM, chris h <[email protected]> wrote: > > Can anybody recommend a good [e]book or screencast series for learning > > this stuff? > > The Stanford course screencasts are free on iTunes > > <http://arstechnica.com/apple/news/2009/04/stanford-iphone-developer-c...> > > Not C based, but Titanium Mobile is a quick way to develop i* apps. > > <http://www.appcelerator.com/products/titanium-mobile-application-deve...> > > g > -- > George Bray, Canberra, Australia.http://geobray.com > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Ruby or Rails Oceania" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]. > For more options, visit this group > athttp://groups.google.com/group/rails-oceania?hl=en. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby or Rails Oceania" group.
