+1 for html5 - I wasn't going to chime in initially, as I didn't want to sidetrack a reasonable request into an anti-apple rant :) But an awful lot of iPhone and Android apps could just as well be written in Javascript/html5/jqtouch, and then run anywhere with little modification.
