Personally, I'd want a more organised 'conference like' event if we're
heading towards the 300 mark, irregardless of what I earn or my status
through my career.

Every event has been more and more expensive, and from running one I can
tell you how hard we worked to keep the prices down (which I know all the
other organisers have done too).

Whoever runs a camp wants it to be better than the last one, which is a
really great standard to live up to!

I'd be happy to have more of a 'back to basics' weekend that was a little
more affordable, because when you're looking at a few hundred bucks for
ticket, air travel, transfers, time away from clients, partners and all the
rest of it—heading over seas for a little more is pretty desirable.

Having said all of that, I think it should be up to the people who run the
camp to choose how they want to run it.

ps - Its time for another in Melbourne, right?
