Fellow campers, I understand the concern about the higher cost of Railscamp 9. The reason it's more expensive this time is due to the cost of the venue, which turned out to be the only suitable venue we could find in the Byron Bay region.
Here's a suggestion. If any student genuinely needs sponsorship to get to Railscamp, please send your details to me (keith at keithpitty.com) ASAP. Similarly, if you or your company would like to sponsor one or more students, send me an email. I suggest that the sponsorship be for half the cost of a standard ticket i.e. $130. We can work out a way of the sponsor reimbursing the student. How does that sound?
