But more importantly, can you stop perpetuating this thread in a completely non-productive manner? Seriously, you are bringing no value to anyone in this list.
If you are interested in improving prototype, that's one thing, but then offer constructive ways to do so rather than just repeating yourself over and over. You read a couple of articles out there from people critiquing proto and now you just want to jump in as though you're some sort of _javascript_ expert and we are newbies. News flash, a good lot of us in this list are _javascript_ experts and we've managed to use proto with GREAT success in spite of anyone's judgements against it.
Moreover, this list is a place for people to present their problems/solutions centered around proto/scriptaculous. You are doing neither. Just stop.

With the inclusion of Base it just looks like things are getting
bigger and messier.
