What it all boils down to is the definition of duty, and what it implies. I don't agree with your's, or what you say it impies, but that's ok.
It is OK, because all we ever argue about on Rangernet is how we disagree. The opinions expressed here are not necessarily the opinions of others and that is fine they don't have to be. It is just strange to me how we spend a lot of time roasting one another here. I find it to hard to believe that we are supposed to building each other up when all we do is argue over the stupidest of things & bring each other down.(You know Satan Just loves it when we do this too) You can perceive the word duty as you want to. I never said you had to see it my way (there is no finality to that) . We are all different. We all have different viewpoints and we are entitled to that. The OPINIONS expressed here are just that, Opinions, they do not necessarily reflect that of the others on the list, nor do they have to. What gets said here is not the "End ALL" of "End ALLS" Part of doing unto others is being able to respect them for their differences even though you may disagree. You don't have to agree with them. You are not accountable for their opinions. But though you disagree, you should still love that person. (For Example) I don't agree with Jerry Falwell on a lot of things, but I should still treat him with love and respect in the same way I would want him to treat me. If -=A#1=- wants to leave old Jerr outside in the rain without the best part of waking up (Maxwell House joke) That's on him.(I don't hate Brother Falwell, I just don't like what he does sometimes) We don't agree on the definition of the word duty. OK. So what? Now What? Do we have to go on fussing and arguing because we had a disagreement? We are not getting anywhere with it. Why should we waste time on it any further and give Satan a foothold in bringing us down?
I perceived this post to be confrontational, that is how I read it. I'm not mad about it, just frustrated. I know sometimes my posts seem to be off the wall sometimes but not always. To err is human but not to err is well, not applicable to me.
I love of all of you, even if we don't always agree all the time.
God Bless,
Iron Mike
