as  for the  ltc i have  to  say we  did it in 2  weekends  1  week end  for the class work  and  1  weekend  for the camping  phase. But the  real  learning  came  doing the  bookwork and that took me  months. the  classwork  is  just  basically your  over few and the  book work  actually helps  you  to get the experience and the  working  knowledge  with what  you learn. We  have  found  this  works  well and you do not earn  your  ltc  in just  the 2 weekends  but  when your book work is  finished  and handed in and  graded which i believe you get up  to about  9 months to cmplete  before youare  required  to take  the  course  over agin but  this  is up to the  sectional commander and his training  staff. harry smith  OP 250 NY
