i wonder if we are confusing methods with goal. the same materila can be presented in a differne t format and still be the same material. Some districts have found that overheads or reading some parts. Rember this discussion started out with how each district breacks down the lessons. Some do it in weekend formats some do it in quartlerly formats. Are we talking meathods or are we talking material. If the material is being taught so the elements are covered are not the same goals being met. Some dtudents learn best being given the basics and discovering the answers. Some students need alittle more guiding and help.example one teacher might just give a sample devotion and then explain how he derived at it while anohter might just explain what a devotion is and then ask the students to give a devotion and discuss among themselves the weakness or ways to improve it. either way the concept of the devotion is taught jmho Harry smith
