Thats where LTC comes in handy.
And where are they going to wear those ribbons?
I didn't want to wear the uniform at first either but I was told that I needed to be in uniform by such and such a date. I think it was a special meeting- it was too long ago to remember. Now its my job to encourage others to wear the uniform and step up to the plate. Of course my whole attitude has changed from those early days. I wanted in because I thought it would be a cool boys club where we got to do outdoors stuff. Little did I know that God would put a desire in my heart to win boys and change my focus to something more than just having fun.

That is the stated objective at our Outpost and is the norm.  If they don't have time to put on a khaki uniform, they are encouraged to.  I do have a couple of leaders that I  haven't broke yet.  They haven't worn one yet.... It will take me getting them one and personally hand it to them.   I tell them "your example will be followed by the boys"...I need you here helping and wished you would wear one as the standard....but if you don't want to I still need your help.   The uniform makes them one of the leaders.  Some guys just don't want to be tied down or committed so I give a full rein to them and let them run with what God has given them.  Always nudging in the right direction.  If it is done in love and God's Spirit is shown through it they will eventually step up to the line and wear the uniform and then you have a good spirit there as they do it because they want to not because they have to.

All,
Let me rephase my question by playing the what if game.
Let's say one evening before Rangers you get a letter from your pastor. In it he states he would like all Royal Ranger and Missionett leaders to be in full uniform every Wednesday night. Would this be asking to much?
This has not happened at my church; but personaly I wish it would.
