It seems like some on this list are forgetting that as
Ranger Leaders, our lives are supposed to be above reproach. We are
not supposed to do things that would LOOK/ APPEAR like we were
sinning.
Years ago, before we had connivance stores on every
corner, I used to stop by liquor stores for a candy bar because the lines were
shorter than at the market. Then I started thinking about the
APPEARANCE of evil, and stopped going into those places. For years I used
to have a bottle of wine in my house and every now and then have a
little. A bottle would last a year, so by no means was laying to it
and getting drunk. One day the Lord convicted me of saying one
thing and doing another. I am not condemning anyone, just asking that you
stop and think about your actions. Would what would one of your boys think
if he saw what you are doing?? Think about
it!!
Those are my convictions.
