He (Thomas Jefferson) believed in God, just because
he had not seen the whole truth of Jesus Christ (yet) dose not mean he wanted
government to tell him how to worship God. The separation of Church and state he
had in mind was to keep the government out of religion NOT religion out of the
government. Reread his words with this thought in mind.
