They left the USA to travel to Utah.. In other cases, a native American spoke out about his dreams, and told the people to pray and dance in the spirit... Wovoka and the Lakota were ordered not to gather in a group, or pray.. They were not *Protected Americans- When they gathered on a wind swept knoll at "Wounded Knee" American soldiers guned them down. The reasoning was that they had been warned and did not yeild to Authority. Recently, a group in Waco Texas after haveing the federal government lay siege and surround the self-proclaimed religious community, allowed it to burn to the ground. How come? My feeling is that "Religious Freedom" in American society is not as protected as you might think, and the finge elements of extreamist Right and Left share equal observation by "Big Brother". *Let's HOPE that in the process of working for a "Bible Based Christ Centered Homeland" that we do not slip into the same trap as national socialisum in pre-WW2 Germany. To insure that, *I propose we act in ways to preserve free expression and duty to God while protecting in word and deed the rights of others with *respect to matters of culture and faith. America is not of one heritage,color,race or religion. *It is in flux.. our legal system is in *Process.. To call for Blind Justice, and absolute rules for social order is to invite reactionary forces to dominate when we are "commanded" to love one another. God calls us with a loose hold, and we are tempted to wander. Must the doctrine of the Assemblies of God be held as absolute? Must every belever fall in line with conservitive republican ethic?
