Greetings Victor- *old times eh?<G>
<smile>

*I'm a secular man..

I go out of my way to stay out of the spiritual "limelight",
a smile and a handshake.. mayby a hug and I'm good to go<G>

That said: *If we were in a tight spot.. say car wreck, war or
feeling *fear... The HolyGhost would rise in my *spirit. The
scriptures would come to me, that had been impressed on my heart
(*jumbled without the chapter and verse BTW) and I'm sure I'd do
right.

I figure: The person who can remember the start, see the end
and not feel fear.. has got it made<G>
[snip]

*Thin Ice-

I might have aluded to this before..

But I do not agree that teaching the Boys this "soul winning" course
is prime mission to them as Royal Rangers. *I beleve that as far as
a child is concerned.. *The reason they are drawn to attend is first
that the experiance is "fun".

You are right of course.
Rangers is bait. It is designed to "reach"
It is filled with everything kids love - adventure, fire, excitement, camping, fires, games, friendship, cooking, yahooing [did I say fire?]

In exchange for providing kids with all this fun stuff - we earn the right to witness to them. In deed and in words. We don't have the right to do this automatically. I believe we need to earn the right.

And I think that's what you're saying.

On a whim, I'll repost my "Value Exchange" essay. That may stir up some thinking...

God bless you my friend,
Victor.
