Hi Jim. At this years Commanders Conference we introduced two new LTA modules and taught them along with Ranger Basics etc.  We are also using the new LTA guidelines for our LTA campout.

I will add that the National Staff is still working long days to get stuff out as they have now for quite a while.  With all that said we had 4 of the National Staff come and take a big part in our District Level Pow Wow.  Camping with their home outposts...working just like any other Leader with our Rangers.  These men are top notch.  They practice what they preach and they deserve the best we have to offer.

GPH has many many many ministries to publish...Royal Rangers is just one part of the job.  Many hold backs are related to this one issue.  They do a lot of juggling to keep everyone happy... sometimes they drop the ball.  In time it will all be there READY for us!

It was confirmed yesterday at the District Office what I have heard, in that some districts were indeed able to secure beta copies of the NEW LTA Modules that were taught at National in March.   They were, as I understand it, for informational purposes only & were not to be taught or distributed.

Now we sit here like birds in the wilderness waiting for National to get their act together.  I understand it will be some time in July.................

There was talk in the section of raising the money & sending me back again next year, but after waiting $800 this year to go & only come back empty handed, I have no desire to do it again.

PS: I have it from a good source that the New Leaders Manual is out as well as the Green Merit Reference book.  We have been told that the long awaited Adventure Rangers Workbook has been printed & in the binding process.  Our District Store expects to have it in a couple of weeks.
