Patriotism versus Christian common sense
Jim, please thank your son for me for serving all of us and laying his
life on the line for our Freedom. I appreciate it very much and thank
you and your family for your sacrifice as well.

Hey, would you guys kindly stop
beating a dead horse? No one is "Flying" any Ranger emblem or Ranger
flag higher or over the US Flag. It's a PATCH, not a real
flag, If your uniform gets dirty or accidentally hits the ground
are you going to retire it & burn it in a dignified ceremony like a US
Flag? Hardly... Besides it only is there to designate what
country you are from. I proudly put the US Flag patch on my uniform
and wear it.
Just to reinforce my position, I
asked my son who just arrived back over the weekend from 8 months of
duty in Iraq. He said the Military does the same thing, they wear the
US Flag Patch under their Combat patch.
