You hit the nail on the head again.
It takes time to get to know each boy. I've taken heaps of time to build up a 
relationship with each boy in my Outpost. One that realy gets to me is when I see one 
of the boys in the street with their parents and they say "Hello, Commander Bonham". 
I can tell the parents how that boy is going in Rangers, how he relates to the others 
and how well he works. I've had boys that have left my Outpost years ago and still 
call 
me Commander Bonham. Why, because I have buildt a relationship with the child.
