Why's it unfair and biased for my son to earn his GMA simply because I'm a
commander? If my son completes the requirements it's NOT because I gave it to
him, it'll be because he EARNS it. ANY father, commander or not can help his
son learn the Ranger material. And I would imagine that your 95% is way off
base - MOST of the GMA's I know did not have fathers as commanders - myself
included.

BTW, I didn't mean to be offensive, I just wanted to point out how silly it is
to belittle requirements that are there to HELP and don't really add any extra
work beyond what is already required!

would be completely stupid to give anyone a GMA without meeting the
requirements. Royal Rangers needs something to support kids who don't have
commanders for parents, which is all I meant by my earlier message. The
program is unfair and biased to kids with parents for commanders. How many
GMA receivers are commander's kids? I bet it's at least 95%. And people
wonder why kids would rather go to youth group instead of RR?? By the way,
a little respect for other people's intelligence unlike that shown by
Michael G would be a good idea. Give other people a little respect OK. I
don't mean to offend anyone by this message, but I found Michael G's
 message offensive to me.
