Hi all,

After reading all of the e-mail reguarding giving half effort and a
recent situation that has reared its head in our outpost, I have one
question for all of the commanders, in cluding my self. Why are we in
Rangers? Why do we continue to lead boys that sometimes (OK , maybe most
of the time) don't want to be lead? Why do we go on campout after
campout (my record is three weeks straight. I'll never do that again.)
with these boys? Why do I continue when I often think, "Let some one
else have this problem." I'm not trying to flame anyone, nor am I
trying to encourage any one to quite or second guess their call to the
ministry. I just want to know, why are some of you commanders in
Rangers? I am really interested to hear some of your responses. I know
for most of us, we were called by God to serve. For some commanders, like
me, there was a need, I stepped up to help, I got involved, I got
trained, I fell in love with the ministry, and now I don't want to leave.
There are some times I'm not sure why I'm in Rangers, while other times
it is very clear why I am in Rangers.

God Bless
Cmdr. Tony Bredow
