*I get discouraged by Pioneers giveing me guff.. it is as hollow as the
turn of the head by *former Rangers in my church.. or the ignored glance
of former Commanders... *Have mercy! *THEY DO NOT KNOW!
Ranger Randy said: "We have 2 dogs in us- Good and Bad! *they fight
and it's us who decide which one we feed..."
Sometimes..I put "blinders-on" and return constantly to a *rememberence of
my best campout... and being surrounded by Men in Ranger Uniforms
*encourageing me on... (*Go Duane! You can do it! GO!)
-=----**V**----=-
Can I complain to Cdr.Johnnie?
*Once at a Camp in Calif. I was sent with a few other Rangers to get
a 50# block of Ice for the Outpost... I put the $.50 cents in and the
block fell out... my "friends left" ...and -=A=- at 15 grabed the block
and started back to camp...
After a while.. It not only got heavy, but it also got COLD! *even in the
hot California summer.... *I set the load down... by a Ponderosa Pine.
National Commander happened by... and said:
Son..that looks like a load! *where's your help?
*Right back I replied:
"I can handle it sir.. I'm allmost there<G>"
(Cdr.Johnnie smiled and went on his way... who know what he thought..
But for me... the weight droped off and I ran back<G>)
How would I explain that the thing that filled my heart with PRIDE is now
*hopeless? ...and I must resign?
*But my word to this Sr.Commander is to "defend his outpost"
Define the biggest-challenge...
It's involveing the BOYS! ...and they want to succeed!
"no support from the church" means to me- No one to "shine" for..
Let's quit looking "inside" the walls and find a place "Outside" to shine!
*devise something amazeing...
Go for a Hike..
Rescue someone<G>
Show up when no-else would<G>
*Keep moveing!
