Dewayne It all depends on the number of pioneers you will be taken with you
and the gear that you have available to you. We have all types of tents now
but we actually got started with a few peices of personal gear. Have found
with the younger boys the simpler the setup is the easier it is. when we
take buckaroos we take simple dome tents and eat cold cereal for breakfast.
The older boys we go for more comfort the canvas wall tents with wood stoves
and bisquits and gravy for breakfast.
and for one or two at fcf i take the baker lean-toand cook venison stew .
It all depends Goodluck and remember if you dont have the gear now later as
that pioneer is a trailranger you can set back and watch the others just
begining and tell the younger boys who are enjoying the large setup I
remember when we had it that easy.
We have gone backpacking with only a 8x10 blue trap for a long weekend of
rain and enjoyed it.
