As one who was in the beginning of a new outpost I chuckled at your goal to 
make the first one a success.  By all means do that, but keep a sense of 
humor about everything.  When you think a campout was short of success many 
times the boys have a great time.  Many times just to do it is fun for them.  
It is such a change of pace for most of them.  Also make sure all leaders and 
Dads have a great time too.   James
