The most important thing any leader can do is to pray for the boys.
What I did in in my patrol was to tell the boys that "This our patrol, not my patrol"
It had the effect of drawing the boys closer together. While the other two patrol are
'mucking around' my patrol will be quietly working away. i have two that will get
their
Master Rating this week. One has 12 months to go before we goes to Trailblazers.
I'm not saying we are the prefect patrol, but we are working on it. One thing I found
that
has helped is ringing the parents up and saying how well their boy is doing.
The intial comment from parents has been "What has he done wrong now." But when
you tell of the good things he has done their attitude changes. The boys see this as
you being interested in them and they will respond in a positive way.

This is the YEAR OF JUBILEE.
LET'S PROCLAIM GOD'S LOVE TO A DYING WORLD
Say to the captives, 'come out,' and those in darkness, 'Be free!'

I looked to the heavens to where God dwells
I looked into my life to see he lives there as well.
