.02cents from the left coast...

Leave Section Cdr. and anyone from Dist. out of the proposal..

Here's why.

Each Outpost is sovern as they are chartered thru the church,
..tho a Cdr. may serve on Section staff.. he is not in "authority"
over a mis-functioning outpost. He may give "advice" and recomend
action.. ect. but the situation is simular to Famliy matters... and
best handled by responding to requests for assistance.

Lately.. As Ranger outposts become "absorbed" by dynamic "Uth"
and childrens pastors, the pro-active Area Commander, or Ranger
"mechanic" may find resistance from these staff members to a
traditional LTC "fired" Royal Ranger outpost.

Rangers "fishes" from the same pond in many cases.. and we don't
allways see the full agenda of these "*servents on staff"

Finely...

"Good Ideas" sometimes develop LONG TERM commitments.. and you face
a task with limited resources, only as solid as your resolve to buy
gas and take time from your Outpost and family..

I'd recomend... something a bit less intrusive, like a newsletter full of
ideas.. and mayby a seminar "roundtable" for leaders in your section.

The survival of our "Leader Patrol" is our own responsibility, and it is
*our call to Christian service that we must be faithfull too... under the
guideline of "With GOD's Help.. I will do my best"

The struggleing Commander *Is doing his best when he allows Christ to
minister to him and thu him.. That is what we want to build!

The best thing we could do is to "lend a hand" quietly.. descreetly and
be in Prayer for the leaders of other Outposts.. *share your *vision and
*passion... and speek your common goals..

Be a encouragement!
