*Here in the Pacific Northwest we have a narrow outdoor camping season
due to being blessed by 10.000 miles of open north pacific air, droping
rain as it hits the warm earth.

The trend in summer is for fewer storms to cross, as the sun heats the
north latitudes and that builds high pressure. (Northwest folks develop
a keen understanding of weather forcasting)

*You might think Royal Ranger outposts would flock to camp in the remote
Cascades, or lush green forests that abound...

The truth is that.. shock'nly.. Most Outposts shut down!

*This isn't my decision for my Outpost, as I remember running all year
long and holding backpack trips to Yosemite and weekend campouts.

*What is the health of your Outdoor camping program?
