Here at Outpost 59 on the East coast we go year 'round.
Our Trailblazers and a few selected Pioneers are going spelunking this
weekend.
We had an "Ultimate Ranger Adventure" a couple of years ago when the boys
went for 9 days starting with a backpacking trip into the Dolly Sods
Wilderness in West Virginia, then rockclimbing at the Seneca Rocks, WV,
followed by white water rafting down the Gauley River (world class rapids,
BTW), and finishing up with a leisurely canoe trip down the historic
Shenandoah River.
We have a Sectional Pow Wow in late May, training camp in June, and District
Pow Wow in August.
Our numbers can get low in the summer but it fluctuates as it's mostly from
vacations.
In His Service for the boys,
