Dear Mr. Shaffer:
I recall without looking it up that at least the Buckaroos have a system
in which a boy has small leadership responsibilities I believe it is
called the Point Rider following a western theme. being as young as they
are I don't believe that PRs have as much responsibility as a Patrol
Guide. They are pretty young to be concentrating on� leadership skills
development.
I am fortunate to have had experience with both Buckaroos and Pioneers.
A great deal of this information comes in LTC and in the leaders
handbook which I don't have in front of me at the time. I am not on
executive staff so, I cannot quaify myself as an expert. Try some of
these resources
