I think that it is not a matter of it SHOULD Change. IT MUST CHANGE!
These attitudes do nothing but hurt this ministry. They have served to defeat
our mission at every turn and cause so much controversy that is definitely
not helping anything. I have seen this ever so present in many churches that
the single mother who wants to be an active part of their sons life be cut
off. The mothers feel that we are raising the boys to be chauvinistic, and
therefore won't allow their boys to be a part because of these attitudes. If
this happens, we are not doing the mission of Royal Rangers because we are
not REACHING we are offending. These attitudes are prevalent just about
anywhere you go, you don't have to look far to find them. If this means my
words are rocking the boat, then I hope they capsize it. I see this as being
along the same lines as what the Pharisees were doing in the Bible and you
know, I'd like to think that we are better than that. Are we so narrow
minded to believe that God can't work through women? There needs to be some
serious prayer going on this topic. Attitudes like these hurt this ministry
and I believe that they are not of God but of Man. If this Is God's
ministry, let God Be God and Do His will and not the will of man. Pray,
Repent and do what it takes, but change these attitudes.
