> What has been your best experience in Royal Rangers?

Hmm that's a tough one.
I have four that really stand out.
1. My first Pow Wow. My first pow wow was in 94 with Potomac District.
The theme of it was read, set,go. I remember that each section of the
district
was a certian part of the world. For example NorthEast was South America.
As you went around the world you collected pins to fill in the world on
your pow
wow hat.The speaker that year was a Mr. Peacock. The thing I still remember
most about it is the candle light servce on the last night
2. The 98 National Camporama. Besides being the last Camporama before 2000,
it was also my frist Camporama. There are a number of things that stand
out. Getting to meet most of the Rangernetters, the quest some of us went
on, the fellowship with other Rangers, the eveing services, and the food
wasn't to bad either. ;-)
3. SoMo District pow wow 98. This stands out because about ever one of the
boys
we took, were filled with the Holy Spirit.
4. Joining the FCF. I joined the FCF, because I thought the tents and
everthing
else was neat. I'm also a big History buff. While at pow wow one only sees
just
a small part of the FCF. The thing I now relize about FCF it is not about
the outfits and tents. It's about true Christian fellowship. These are men
and boys that go out of there way to make sure that brother gets to that
event. How many other orgs. do you know of that are willing go out of there
way?
